Pulling it apart exposed the actual wire of the cable. Came with the "rubber" insulator melted to each other. Last time I'll buy from Belkin, monoprice it is from now on I guess.
I found an old USB (6 ft) but it was a tight fit due to distance. The Qeek guy came in with a 6 foot cable for a high cost. Thanks Amazon. I recently replaced my computer and had the QEEK squad install it. When it came to installing the printer, the old printer cable was not a USB cable so I needed a proper cable. but it got me by until I bought a 10 foot Belkin F3U133-10 for a lot, lot less price than his 6 footer.
Quality printer cables will only increase in the future. And the hits just keep on coming. We have three in use. Another amazing Amazon deal. I did. Please price this Belkin USB Pro Series 2.0 cable at your local office supply store. It is over $20.00. Stocking up on a couple of extra at $4.95 each with free shipping is a good idea.
It might be a little short but seems to be a fine cord (don't know what else to say)
